Dear KOGO Community, this is our final newsletter for the year.

It has been a great year for KOGO. We have been able to do what we do best - Knit One and Give One and Knit One and Give One - all year without a break!

My whole childhood was, “Wait until I finish this row!”.

Though winter is officially over, the cold weather lingers on. We continue to receive regular orders from the organisations we support.

A great deal of focus is placed on the garments we distribute and the love and support we share in the shape of knits and blankets

At KOGO numbers speak louder than words!

Winter is such a challenging time for some members of our community. Our knits provide warmth, comfort and a feeling of love to so many people.
Thank you to all our incredible knitters for all your generous donations.

KOGO is still in its prime!

Welcome to 2022 - a new beginning - a fresh start…and KOGO has hit the ground running! We have received thousands of donations from our talented and generous knitters and have already sent out more than 20 orders, 10,950 items, to different charities.

This is our final newsletter for the year 2021. Though many things might have needled us this year, most of us have tried to laugh and have a good yarn while creating garments for sew many people in our community. Providing for others allowed us to stay hooked on the darn good things in life.

We have been so keen to get back into action at KOGO and it feels like we are almost there! Once again, we gratefully and joyously accept all your handmade donations. We will continue to distribute these items to as many people as we can.

Thankfully, when the sun begins to shine, everything seems a little brighter. There is a feeling of change in the air. We will find our new ‘normal’ and continue to knit, crochet, and create for others.

It is hard to believe so many of us are still in lockdown. A challenging aspect for us is that we feel we have no control over when our current circumstances might change. That is why we love knitting!

Many of our incredible knitters have experienced a period of lockdown since our last newsletter. Though being stuck at home can be a good opportunity to knit and create, we are aware that it can feel lonely at times. We hope that you are looking after yourselves and finding opportunities to engage with others.
