In Victoria, we are slowly coming out of lockdown. Our knitters have once again used this time to create more winter woollies for our community. We all know how important it is to be busy when stuck at home. As they say, ‘knitting keeps me from unravelling!’

As winter nears, KOGO continues to receive and deliver thousands of knits each week Australia wide. We are proud of how efficiently we distributed these woollies to those in need. We have continued to increase the number of charities we support this year.

It is hard to believe it is already the end of April. Winter feels like it is just around the corner, allowing us to merrily sit inside and knit for longer periods of time…guilt free!

KOGO is reaping the benefits of hours of dedicated knitting completed during lockdown in 2020.

Welcome to 2021!

We hope you have had a wonderful summer break. After a challenging 2020, we are well rested and ready for a productive and positive year ahead. We have been inundated with knits and we look forward to distributing these hand-made items to the community organisations we support. We welcome 2021 with open arms!

I am writing this newsletter with a mixture of sadness and joy.

We have been running the KOGO Christmas Angel Project for many years.

We hope that you are all looking after yourselves.
Unfortunately, we Victorians are still in lockdown, but we can definitely start to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

I hope that you are all managing in these difficult times – especially those of us in Victoria with this extended lock-down period.

Now that the cold weather has started it is reassuring that KOGO has recommenced distribution of your warm hand knitted and crochet donations to those in need.

We are pleased to let you know that we will soon be recommencing our KOGO operations but at a reduced capacity.

What strange times we are living in at the moment. When the weather turns cold, our warm woollies will be needed more than ever.
