We accept the following items for adults, children and babies:
Scarves
Beanies
Socks
Gloves (including fingerless)
Baby jackets, booties, pram blankets and cot blankets
Handmade toys
Adult Blankets
Knitted squares
Garments in indigenous colours (Red, Black and yellow)
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept second hand items, knitting and crochet needles, pattern books or half balls of wool. NB: We are no longer accepting items for premature babies due to reduced demand from our Community Partner Organisations.

We prefer 8 ply wool, acrylic or blend. However, please feel free to knit with any yarn.

If you would like to volunteer to be a drop-off point for KOGO donations, and can deliver the goods to our Victorian headquarters in Caulfield regularly, please send an email to: info@kogo.org.au

Yes, but whole balls only please, preferably with labels.

We supply our items to over 310 Community Partner Organisations. These are Public Benevolent Institutions, charities and government agencies and fall into the following broad categories:
Crisis accommodation
Emergency relief
Family support
Government funded community support services
Homelessness services
Hospital social work and mental health services
Organisations dealing with children at risk
Refugees and asylum seekers
Domestic violence refuges
Remote indigenous communities
Primary Schools
Kindergartens
Playgroups
Children in out-of-home care
